all through the rain
the
water
droplets
like
fireflies
dancing
in autumn
her eyes
have motion
all through the rain that
I
have dreamed
creating motion
where motionless seemed
too statuesque to maintain
personality and perfect flame
in the droplets that fall
and land too close
with her,
for once - I am alive.
my skin as desert, she as cracks
perfectly spaced.
the wind
sweeping across our surface
like a wolf's howl
the sounds we make
together
are perfect harmonic
never echo
never shatter the full moon
we never feel the rain
as we are our own monsoon
the hurricane envelopes, all else forgotten
before there was nothing
and never will be
an after
this is
where I remain
no love but this woman
could keep me sane
in a world of asylums
where everyone's a patient
she's the perfect insanity to keep me sated
